Saturday Volunteer Work

This morning I brought Ria and Terri for the first time to help out at my sister-in-law's free clothing "closet" for needy families. We got a lot done and the time went fast and it was a nice time for mother-daughter chit-chat during the drive. Of course the special stop at Starbucks (we all had to get up early to get moving for this one) didn't hurt. I was particularly pleased with Terri's perseverance. She sometimes can get bored with things after a time, but apparently this project was right up her alley. I think we'll make this a regular thing. :)
