Ria and Gus are off with Daddy to "Take Your Child to Work Day"

Unfortunately, the company has also announced upcoming "workforce reductions" today. I suspect John will make it through this round, but it's never a certain thing. Last time they did this (a few months after 9/11), his whole department was laid off, but he was one of three or four engineers who were hired back a few days later for a different department.

Everyone got involved in working on (or doing practice tries) for the Illuminated Ink coloring contest. Enthusiasm has soared since we found out today that Terri won the "Random" prize for her age category in the Easter contest.
