Fridays are less formal around here, mostly because we have co-op on Friday afternoons. Though today's co-op has been rescheduled, we're planning on taking full advantage of this beautiful day (both for spending some time outdoors and getting some spring cleaning done in preparation for company this weekend and next)!
Ria -
Art
Working on Fr. Marquette and the Great Rivers
Started some Latin, but was too tired and got an abnormally large amount wrong, so retired to reading for now.
Gus -
1 1/2 pages of Math
Terri -
read from Alice in Wonderland (2 chapters)
Bernie -
read from Betsy-Tacy (2 chapters)
It's funny how we get some of our best learning in on our more "relaxed" days. Terri and Bernie just came in from outside to ask if they could build a dam ala Building Big: Dams (more precisely the "Building Small" segment afterwards). Frank is pouring over the Building Big book with great interest.
Gus went to a movie and book discussion party on Tom Sawyer. He really liked it and contributed several details to the "boys vs. girls" book quiz.
